Social Guidelines
How the Social Feed Works
The social feed is an integrated community feature designed to foster communication between employees and management, provide guidance, and keep everyone informed about company news and events.
Social Feed Desktop Structure and Features
Located in the middle section:
- General Community: displays all activity across the community.
- Sort Options: Organize posts by newest activity, oldest posts, or newest posts.

The left sidebar provides easy access to key sections:
- Mentions: Quickly locate posts where you’ve been tagged, either by name or via the group tag (@all). Notifications are sent to your inbox for every mention.
- Replies: View all comments on your posts. New comments trigger notifications, making it simple to track unread responses.
- Spaces: Access groups you belong to, organized by CARSTAR locations.
- Course Discussions: Participate in conversations related to courses you’re enrolled in, either from the course discussions tab or via each course in the course discussion section. This can be accessed from the social feed or directly within the course player.
The right-hand side section of the page includes:
- Search: Locate posts using keywords.
- User Status: View who is online.
